Making A Purchase PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT A CURRENT MEMBER YOUR PURCHASE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 20% SURCHARGE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and Mastercard and the safest way to pay is through our secure online shopping site. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship, back ordered items are charged but will be shipped separately.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order by giving you an paid invoice, and hence this is our contract between us. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in on our website in pricing, or we have inadvertently underpriced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

All orders are invoiced at price ruling on date of dispatch or at the time you pick up the goods from Summerfield House, as prices can change without prior notice and can change right up to the point of purchase.

Returns Policy:- Whilst the Federation of Window Cleaners endeavors to comply with the standard returns policy on faulty goods - Please be aware 30 days of purchase for any goods being returned. We respectfully ask that customers allow us the time to follow returns procedure before agreeing any exchange/replacement or repair of such equipment.

Damaged Items

Customers are responsible for checking consignments for damage or missing parts, PRIOR to ACCEPTING and SIGNING from the courier. Any omissions or errors on an order must be reported within 3 working days of receipt to FWC.

In the unlikely event that items are damaged in transit; please inform us immediately. This will ensure that any claims against the courier can be processed promptly and a replacement item resent. FWC cannot guarantee that any damage to an item reported after 3 days will result in a successful claim and may mean that a replacement cannot be offered.

Goods that are missing or damaged must be signed for as 'damaged' or 'incomplete'. FWC cannot guarantee that if a parcel has been signed for and is later found to be faulty or incomplete that it can then be rectified or claimed for. Please check all orders immediately and only sign or have the courier note on their machine the order is given but damaged for your order if it is correct.

FWC cannot accept liability for goods delivered to third party addresses or goods left in unsecured locations. All goods should be signed for accordingly or as now photographed
in an open door way by the courier and FWC will deliver to nominated secure addresses according to the customer’s instructions.


Faulty Items

Any goods that arrive faulty must be returned to FWC within 30 days before we send out a replacement. The carriage for this is at the customer’s expense
and proof of delivery is required. Once evaluated, if the issue is deemed a manufacturers fault, the items are eligible for repair or if beyond repair,
a replacement will be sent out.

Not all products are covered by a warranty, and therefore Items that are faulty outside of the 30 day period may not be eligible for a refund. Please
contact us to receive details of a specific product warranty if information pertaining to the product is not available online:-

FWC cannot accept any liability for any consequential loss incurred by customers due to faulty goods supplied. FWC will undertake to replace any goods in
the shortest time period possible or supply equivalent quality goods accordingly.

Faulty items returned to us are usually dealt with within 10 working days. However, Manufacturers warranty claims can take up to 28 days to be resolved.


Unwanted Items

Non Faulty items returned to us are given a Credit notes in respect of none faulty goods being returned along with a 20% re-stocking charge which will be deducted from your refund.

PLEASE NOTE:-
1) it is not FWC policy to accept the return of non-faulty goods. However return of non faulty goods may be considered by the management with a 20% re-stocking charge.
2) Only credit notes will be issued.
3) in certain cases, carriage charged will also apply.
4) We will ONLY accept non faulty goods back within 30 days of Purchase thereafter no refund will be considered.

Non member may not purchase equipment that shows the Logo and will be charged a surcharge of 20% EXTRA on any other equipment.

Shipping and Handling POSTAGE AND PACKING Discrepancies on deliveries must be reported to the FWC within 3 days of receipt or no claims will be accepted. Only sign for the number of parcels received (undamaged).

Orders under 1 kilo where possible will be sent by Royal Mail. Goods value up to £36.00 would be sent Recorded Delivery as this service insures up to £36.00 of goods, if the order value is more this order will have to be sent Special Delivery.

A £10.25 24 hour service up to 6.00 p.m. on next working day for Orders up to 10 kilo if more than 10 kilos we have to charge for the extra weight.

A £10.25 24 Hour carrier service is offered for orders received by 1.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday NOTE Orders received after 1.00 p.m. will be dispatched the following day on a 24 hour service & on Friday’s by 1.00 p.m. a 72 hour service, however if there is a Bank holiday on the Monday following the Friday you order you order will take 96 hour service. Saturday , Sunday & Bank Holidays are not counted as working day deliveries.

NOTE Regions of Scotland and Overseas (Jersey, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland , etc) please telephone for a delivery quote—although regretfully we are unable to offer a 24 hour service for these areas.

If you require goods BEFORE 12 NOON NEXT WORKING DAY This can also be arranged and is subject to a Quotation being obtained by telephone on 0161 432 8754 between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.

ORDERS WITH GOODS VALUE OF £200.00 Excluding VAT and post and packing WILL BE CARRIAGE FREE N.B. The free carriage offer does not extend to liquids, poles, cones, Resin and heavy duty signs, additionally, any pole over 2.5Metres will incur a handling charge of £15.00 in addition to the £10.25 quoted above.

This offer does not include Regions of Scotland and Overseas (Jersey, Isle of Wight,, Isle of Man , Northern Ireland, Highlands etc.,). Although at the time of quoting, we may agree a discount.

Important if you require your parcel to be left without a signature for example 'please leave in shed if not in' we must stress that when the couriers have done as per your instruction and the parcel then goes missing this parcel is not insured, this is because we have no signature. So the goods could not be re-sent without you placing and paying for the order again.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK 20.0% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
